Hernquist-Medaille für Marit Paulsen

(17.11.2012) Europa-Abgeordnete Marit Paulsen wurde am 16. November 2012 mit der Hernquist Medaille in Silber der Sveriges Veterinärförbund (SVF) ausgezeichnet.

Marit Paulsen wurde für ihr Engagement für Tiergesundheit, Tierschutz und nachhaltige Lebensmittelproduktion im Agrarausschuß des Europaparlaments geehrt.

Die Hernquist-Medaille erinnert an Peter Hernquist, dem Begründer der schwedischen Veterinärmedizin. Die Hernquist Medaille in Silber ist für Preisträger bestimmt, die selbst nicht Tierärzte sind, sich aber um den Berufsstand der Tierärzte verdient gemacht haben.
